Arthur & Théo

Co-inventors of COSMOS

We wanted to learn science differently: not just by reading or listening to a lesson, but by living an adventure where you have to understand what's going on to keep going.

So we started imagining missions, characters, problems to solve… and then a real glowing companion to live them with us.

We didn't always know how to do it. So we learned, tested, failed, tried again… and COSMOS grew up with us.

The invention

COSMOS

A science adventure where you're the hero.

An interactive space co-pilot to learn by living a mission!

We imagined COSMOS for ourselves, for fun: we didn't want to discover space through a lesson, but to really go on a mission.

We talk with the crew, explore, face the unexpected, ask questions, make choices… and the story reacts to our decisions.

With COSMOS, knowledge doesn't come before the adventure. It becomes what you need to keep going.

A COSMOS mission is something you live.

  • 01

    Destinations to explore

ISS, Moon, Mars, Europa, Titan… Every mission brings a new place, new characters and new problems to solve.

  • 02

    A crew that talks back

We really talk with the mission's characters. We ask them our own questions, we can even go off the planned path… and the adventure still goes on.

  • 03

    Choices that matter

COSMOS doesn't just tell us a story. We make decisions, test ideas, sometimes get it wrong… and have to find another way to keep going.

  • 04

    A physical companion

The device lives the adventure with us: its light reacts to what happens in the mission. The story doesn't stay on the screen, it's right here beside us.

Designed mainly for ages 8–13.

And maybe, one day…

What if COSMOS came on a mission to your home one day?

Yes, we dream big. We imagine that one day, maybe thanks to a cosmic misunderstanding ✦, COSMOS will go on missions in homes other than ours.

Today, COSMOS is a prototype: it can't be tried or pre-ordered. Get on the boarding list to be the first to know if it ever becomes a reality.

No mission is ever done alone.

COSMOS is ready to travel. To see it through, we're putting our crew together. Here's the support the mission needs.

Module 01 · Travel

Guadeloupe → Paris

We live in Guadeloupe. Taking part in the Concours Lépine means travelling between Guadeloupe and Paris, for us and our parents. We're looking for an airline partner for this trip.

Become our airline partner
Module 02 · Science crew

2 to 3 science communicators

The fair lasts 12 days and we'll only be 11. To fully enjoy this adventure without being on the stand from morning to night, we're looking for 2 to 3 people to join our crew, present COSMOS to visitors and take over when we need a break.

  • Science communication
  • Space, science, AI
  • Software development
  • Students or young professionals comfortable with the public and children
Join the crew
Module 03 · On-board technology

Equipment ready for 12 days of demos

Beyond the hardware, we're looking for a partner to build a solid setup, designed for non-stop demos throughout the fair.

  • 2 reliable computers or tablets
  • Good-quality headsets with microphones
  • Demo accessories and equipment
Equip the mission
Module 04 · Mission zero bugs

Reliability & development

The idea isn't to rebuild COSMOS. It's to make the demos as solid as possible before the fair, with input from experienced people.

  • Technical review and stress testing
  • Error handling, demo stability
  • Failure scenarios
  • Poor connectivity and fallback solutions
Secure the demos
Module 05 · Scientific quality

Accurate, accessible content

COSMOS uses space exploration to get children thinking. We'd love an outside eye to keep the content accurate, accessible and age-appropriate.

  • Scientists and engineers
  • Teachers and science communicators
  • Space professionals
Share my expertise
Module 06 · Mission logistics

Everything that keeps a stand going

Twelve days at a fair take careful preparation, beforehand and on site. Reliable hands-on support lets the crew focus on what matters: showing people COSMOS.

  • Equipment transport, storage
  • Printing and signage
  • Stand set-up, small equipment
  • Logistics in Paris, help during the fair

Can you help us?

Company, institution, non-profit or school: tell us how you'd like to come aboard. We'll get back to you personally.

Every collaboration can come with visibility we agree on together: your logo on our stand at the Concours Lépine — nearly 400,000 visitors —, on the COSMOS website and, if you wish, on the social media accounts dedicated to Arthur & Théo's adventure.

How would you like to join the mission?

Our constellation ✦

Every mission needs people who believe in it.

Add your star

And then… we have a dream.

Of all the people we'd love to meet on COSMOS's journey, there are two who are a little bit special:

Sophie Adenot and Thomas Pesquet.

So Sophie, Thomas…

They say dreams never die. So we thought ours might just find its way to you…
